Alert the media...171h came! not so good news to follow...
Did my mail check today.... Imagine my delight when in the middle of the pile was a letter from United States department Of Homeland Security! Yes is was the much anticipated 171H letter. So I am doing my happy dance, the kids are cheering, all is right with the world, until I take a closer look and my last name is spelled wrong! Hubby's was fine but they flipped two letters in mine. Granted "Boegelsack" is not the most common name, but for $545.00 you would think they could double check to make sure all is good before sending the letter out. I know there is no way this is gonna fly and at this point I do not even know where to begin to try and get this fixed. It is not as if there is a phone# anywhere on the letter. I have sent off an urgent email to our agency so we will see what they have to say. Talk about bursting my bubble.....sigh......and we were so close! I dont even think a bubble bath and a glass of wine could cheer me up at this point.

Sorry about that...it really is frustrating isn't it. Hopefully they can get it corrected quickly : )
How frustrating...I'd be anxious to hear what they say. I did discover that the USCIS website does have a way to look up local offices. You may be able to find a phone number to contact them that way. I hope it all works out! Keep us informed! Thanks again for all of the info...I think we will stay put for now. Our dossier should be sent to the state on Monday! Happy Friday!
