Without the help of our dedicated facilitator, I don't now what we would have done. This truly was a smooth process.Thank you Mr.Dat!
Mr.Linh, our dedicated tour guide and friend took us under his young wing and made this such an enjoyable experience. A wonderful, witty, caring young man You Rock Linh!
Miss Hilary....words can not express....As much as I want to go home......believe me I Want to go home....I am surprised by these feelings of sadness I have of leaving this country.....I don't ever want to forget the feelings and experiences we have had had here. It is hard to not get teary. This is the birthplace of our beautiful daughter, I will be forever greatful to Vietnam and its people. This precious little girl comes to us as a gift. Along with this gift comes a great responsibility. A responsibility to a woman whom we will never know, whom for reasons unknown to us was unable to keep this little angel. She must have had dreams for this little girl, dreams that she knew she would not be able to fulfill. In three weeks I have grown to love this child so completely. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not be thankful for this beautiful gift we have received.
My child,
I carried you in my heart
before you were even born
And dared to dream
that you were real.
My child,
I carried your picture with me
since the day I received it,
And dared to love
a child I was yet to meet.
My child,
I carried you in my arms at last,
and gazed in helpless wonder
at your face,
And dared to lose
my heart to you.
And now, my child,
a dream fulfilled,
a prayer answered,
a family created,
I have dared to become
a mom.
And so now,
my precious child,
I shall carry you
home.

What a great and very sweet post. For some reason the pictures aren't showing up though. I am looking forward to seeing the faces of the people we will be dealing with (hopefully) very soon. I am so glad everything went so smoothly and that you guys are on your way home.

Congratulations! I had a hard time leaving VN, as well. As happy as I was to be coming home with my son, I was sad to leave. I can't wait to go back.
