Saturday in Hanoi

It is hard to believe we have been here for close to a week now. We haven't really ventured out into the city yet. Just hanging in the room bonding with our little angel. We have have just went to the Vincom Tower mall a couple of times. We are taking Miss P for her passport pictures today and submitting the application on Monday. We are hoping to get first USCIS visit done Tuesday. Things are going very well. Paige is attaching to us better than I could have ever dreamed. She is so tiny though, only 9.8 lbs. Here are a couple new pictures.

Aahh, she is so cute. You got some good shots. Good luck with keeping things on schedule next week for all of the appointments.

She really is just so sweet and beautiful. My girls were about the same size, tiny. They wore 0-3 month clothes for a good month after arriving home and then were in 3-6 for at least 4 months.
Sounds like things are going well, hopefully you'll breeze through the rest. If you do get out, the Temple of Lit. is very pretty and almost a sanctuary in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, across the street from that is a great little shop called Craft Link (I think) that sells things from outlying areas and also pays the people making the items fairly. Lots of variety and a good cause. Try to get out in the Old quarter a bit as well. If you want smocked linen dresses go to the Highlands Cafe at the north end of Hoan Kiem Lake then turn left (west) and head straight a couple blocks (past Little Hanoi 2 restaurant...good food here and at the Highlands, by the way) and that will start silk street, about a block into it there were a couple places that sell the most beautiful smocked linen dresses. I have photos of the girls in them for our court day...would be around the beginning of may if you search the blog for photos.
Enjoy getting out when you are able to handle the heat and keep posting, it's wonderful to hear how your doing and to see some pics of your little angel!
