A bit of a scare
We took Miss P to the dermatologist yesterday and she was diagnosed with a pretty good case of eczema. We left with two prescriptions, one for the face and one for her body. I picked up the meds this afternoon and came home and gave her a bath and then applied the creams. Within 10 minutes her face was covered in hives. You could almost watch it spread. Long story short we ended up in the ER because her eyes and face seemed to be swelling and it was spreading to her chest(she looked pretty awful). They did a quick look over and since her lips weren't blue and she appeared to be breathing ok they let us sit and wait for 1 1/2 hours! Needless to say by the time we actually saw the Doc the reaction was beginning to subside. Diagnosis......allergic reaction to the face cream. All is well now and she is sleeping like the little angle that she is....
