Thankfully Miss P does not wake crying during the night and she has gotten to where I can lay her down awake and she will fall asleep on her own. We had already decided if this were not the case we would not let her "cry it out" I know there are people on both sides of the fence as far as this is concerned and I respect both sides. Here is my little issue. Miss P has been waking up the middle of the night just jabbering like crazy.....loudly! she is not fussing, just talking and making noise. Last night she was awake for over an hour. What would you do?? I am concerned if I pay alot of attention to this it will become a nightly habit and she will want to stay up half the night visiting.. I have just been letting her talk herself back to sleep, but part of me feels extremely guilty.
On another topic....when I went to order Paige's halloween costume(I had decided on the butterfly) it was sold out!! the problem doesn't end there...the runner up bunny was sold out too!! hmmmm so what did we end up with??guess you will have to wait and see!!
Miss P is our nightly dinner entertainment. In this video you can hear us all laughing in the background. She is such a hoot!

I think, yes, you should let her "talk it out." I think she is exploring that she can talk. I don't think anything is wrong unless she cries. I would confirm with an expert, though I am not sure who that is. :)
My mom says I talked and not cried at night when I was a baby! Actually she claims I never stopped! So let her go!
I cannot wait to see what she will be for Halloween!

let her talk, baby! i think it is just the cutest thing and sounds like she is SO SECURE. if this video is indication -- she is obviously not the least bit stressed out. if she was crying or wimpering or anything i would say comfort her but her talking sounds like she is awake and just amusing herself. i think that is a wonderful thing!
