I am the first to admit my blog has lost its shine. What gives? I really don't like to post just for the sake of posting....it is just that simple. When I began our blog it was at the beginning of our adoption journey. Our referral, travel and first months home ,meant there was always something to write about. This is not to say that things are uneventful now, Miss P is doing something new and fun and exciting more and more everyday. I just don't want to take precious time away from her to write about it. Being a working Mom I don't feel there is enough time in the day as it is. I don't want my blog to feel like a chore, it has always brought me pleasure to write about Paige. Starting the week of 4/13 I have decided to post a "picture of the week" of Miss P and will write a post at the end of every month to catch everyone up on what our little diva has been up to. I have met some wonderful people through this blog , I really don't want to give it up and I think my new plan will be the perfect fix for me ,in fact I am already thinking about the end of the month post ! Here are a few pictures from the past week.
The "mohawk" wasn't intentional, she had a "piggy tail" in and pulled it out, this is the result.
Cooper received this rocking horse for his 1st birthday and wanted to pass it on to his sister for her 1st birthday.

I think that your plan sounds like a great one:) I will look forward to Miss. P's weekly pic, and reading about her in your monthly update. Seeing her is always good for a guaranteed smile:)

I know that I write for many in that we'd love to "watch" Miss P grow up through photos, and also to hear about your joys about being a mom to her. Even a weekly update would be enough.
Plus, keeping an online diary such as this makes it easier in the future to share with Miss P her childhood, and to share with her how much love there was for her before she was even a part of your family.
Your blog also inspires those that are trying to adopt (such as my husband and me)... so don't disappear! :)

I totally get what you mean. I find it very hard to blog, even though I really want to. (my) Coop is just so much more important to me that the blog has to take a back seat...unfortunately my blog commenting has taken the worst hit!
The pictures of Ms. P are adorable! I love seeing what she is into! I certainly would hate to see your blog go, but I can totally relate. There are SO many days I think about just not blogging anymore. So, either way I can totally understand and respect your decision. I hope your plan works for an end of the month post, but if not, I think everyone would understand. Blessings!
